The initial versions of the Democracy Levels Framework were developed by the Democracy Levels Working Group, the authors of the ICML paper and previous NeurIPS and CHI workshop papers. To support rapid evolution of the framework, the most up-to-date version (on this website) is being developed and maintained by AI & Democracy Foundation and is informed (but has not necessarily been approved or endorsed) by authors, working group members, or their organizations.
